Discover 95°

One number. Every cup.

95 Degree is a specialty coffee house at M3M 65th Avenue, Sector 65, Gurugram. The name is the temperature a good cup is brewed at, and the idea behind everything here: measure, calibrate, and get it right every single time.

Why 95°

Precision isn’t loud. It’s measured.

Everything you taste in a cup is what hot water pulls out of the grounds. Too cool and it’s sour; boiling and it’s bitter. Specialty coffee brews between 90 and 96°C, and 95 sits right at the sweet end.

  • Beans
  • Milk
  • Balance
  • Precision

“The number represents the mindset of measuring, calibrating and finding the right balance.”

Drag the heat

95°C

Balanced.

Hot enough to dissolve the sugars and aromatic oils, not so hot that it drags out the harsh compounds. Sweet, round and full-bodied. Every cup is brewed here, at the sweet spot.

Acidity
Sweetness
Body
Bitterness

Illustrative. Grind, ratio, time and the beans move it too.

Our story

Two friends. One cup.

College batchmates whose careers went different ways. Both spent time in London, years apart, and both fell for the same thing: fast, focused coffee bars built on getting a good cup right every single time. Years later they met again and found they had been carrying the same idea.

Finance → numbers → scale

Jatish

He saw London’s coffee bars through the numbers: unit economics, discipline, a format people come back to daily. At 95 Degree that is precision in the processes behind every cup, so it tastes the same on the hundredth visit.

The numbers.

Marketing → brand → experience

Vikram

He saw the same bars from the customer’s side: how a simple cup becomes a brand, and a brand becomes a habit. At 95 Degree that is precision in the experience, from the name on the cup to the way the shop feels.

The story.

“95 Degree was born from two different perspectives meeting at the same point.”
